System & Generation Association successfully concluded "Digitopia: Green Code, Managing E-Waste and Digital Footprint," an intensive 8-day Erasmus+ Youth Exchange in Ankara that united 28 changemakers from Sweden, Tunisia, Spain, Finland, and Türkiye. Led by coordinators Burak Enes Fidan and Ömer Baran Özer, the project empowered youth to become "Active Digital Citizens" by tackling physical e-waste and digital carbon footprints through the four pillars of the "Twin Transition." A major highlight of the program was a strategic visit to the Turkish National Agency (TRNA) under Mr. Gürkan Akçaer's leadership, which allowed participants to align their local environmental initiatives with EU "Green Priority" standards, network, and explore future opportunities for project engagement in Türkiye.

The project seamlessly blended science, innovation, and culture by exploring digital energy demands with TESPAM, witnessing e-waste recycling at AET Electronics, and recording the "Green Code" sustainability podcast alongside green tech startups at Orion TEKMER. Participants also connected with Türkiye's civic heritage through nature studies at METU and a historical visit to Anıtkabir. Ultimately, this EU-funded initiative—organized by System & Generation with support from TRNA, Ankara GSB, TESPAM, and Orion TEKMER—empowered 28 youth with practical "Green Coding" skills, fostered deep intercultural dialogue, and awarded all attendees with official Youthpass certificates to champion a sustainable digital future.
