Applications are now open for a volunteering opportunity at Kaprálův mlýn Scout Environmental Education Centre, hosted in the beautiful natural surroundings of the Moravian Karst Protected Landscape Area, near Brno, Czech Republic, and supported by System and Generation as the sending organization!
Taking place at one of the Czech Republic’s leading environmental education centres, this project offers young people the opportunity to contribute to environmental protection, non-formal education, and community engagement while living in an international and intercultural environment.
Volunteers will actively support the daily operation of the eco-centre through a variety of activities, including environmental maintenance, educational programmes for children and adults, nature conservation initiatives, communication and promotion tasks, and assistance with international events and community activities. Tasks will be adapted according to volunteers’ interests, skills, and learning goals.
Beyond volunteering activities, participants will have the chance to explore the unique landscapes of the Moravian Karst region, experience Czech culture, meet young people from across Europe, and develop valuable personal and professional competences through hands-on learning.
The project provides accommodation in a dedicated eco-friendly volunteer house, full insurance coverage, mentoring support, and all conditions required under the European Solidarity Corps programme.
This opportunity is ideal for motivated young people who enjoy working outdoors, are interested in environmental sustainability and education, and are eager to become part of an international team committed to positive social and ecological impact.
