Type: Individual Volunteering under the European Solidarity Corps
Duration: 12 months
Period: 1 December 2025 – 30 November 2026
Locations: Sofia and Kardzhali, Bulgaria
Hosting organisation: Art Center – Karnolsky
What We Offer Volunteers
Accommodation, food and transport: Volunteers will be provided with safe and comfortable accommodation, meals or food allowance, and coverage of local transport costs. Travel from Türkiye to Bulgaria will be reimbursed according to ESC rules.
Financial support: Monthly pocket money according to the ESC rates for Bulgaria.
Training & mentoring: On-arrival training, mid-term evaluation, language support (Online Language Support), and continuous mentorship throughout the project.
Tasks: Volunteers will be actively involved in activities related to ecology, music, arts, and working with children, supporting cultural and educational initiatives of the Art Center both in Sofia and Kardzhali.
Insurance: All volunteers will be fully covered under the ESC insurance scheme.
Volunteer Profile
We are looking for fluent English-speaking young people (18–30 years), motivated to join long-term volunteering in Bulgaria, with interests in ecology, music, arts, and youth/children’s activities. Enthusiasm, creativity, openness to learning and teamwork are highly valued. Volunteers with fewer opportunities are especially encouraged to apply.
