Our association, Tesz-Vesz Alapítvány, has been active in Szolnok (Hungary) since 1993 and is waiting for you!
The association manages the "Szőlőszem" youth center, where we promote traditional Hungarian and European games, youth activities, and intercultural exchanges. Our goal is to strengthen active citizenship, create international connections, and offer opportunities for personal and community growth.
What you'll do as a volunteer
During your time with us, you'll:
Participate in club activities (sports, board games, cooking, film, etc.);
Help keep the center welcoming and active;
Create content for social media;
Collaborate on training courses, camps, and presentations in schools;
Propose and implement your ideas and events for the local community.
Schedule and Conditions
5 days a week (Mon-Fri), approximately 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM, weekends free;
Pocket money: €4/day;
Food money: €5/day;
Accommodation in a shared apartment in the city center (close to shops and the train station);
Free tickets to local festivals and cultural events included.

A quiet city with two rivers, green spaces, theaters, cinemas, restaurants, and excellent train connections to Budapest and other Hungarian cities.
Duration
The project is part of the European Solidarity Corps (ESC). The duration and specific dates will be communicated during the selection process.
