DOĞUKAN: "The Balkans has always been a region that must be visited for me. And I am very lucky that I had fun and learned a lot about entrepreneurship while making this visit. There have been great gains for me in terms of creating ideas, implementing business plans and turning them into reality. While turning our dream job into reality, I had very important experiences in how we thought about every detail, how we planned it and how we would put it into reality. We stayed in Korça, one of the most beautiful city in Albania. I had a wonderful project with the hospitality, friendliness and full energy of the people of Korça. Korça is a city where Christianity and Islam live together peacefully. We visited many important places of Korça. During these trips, thanks to our Albanian friends, we learned about the history of the places we visited, what it means for the city and where we should go. During the training, our trainer was very knowledgeable and experienced in entrepreneurship. I learned information and lived moments that I will never forget for the rest of my life. I would love to meet every participant in the project someday in the future. It was a very fun, memorable, adventurous and informative project for me."
TUĞBA: "My sweet days in Albania... Before I went there I was anxious about the communication, this was the first time for me. I was thinking about the differences and the people, then I arrived to Tirana everyone was stranger, but so nice and kind to me and to my friend. I went the Korçe, all my concerns was gone despite all the differences we have, we found sweet similarities. And I realized that what make us kind like a friends is our different views. I’ve learned so much from Tila, she is super talented and an idol for me as a strong woman, I am studying literature i was thinking that the business things are not for me but Tila has changed my mind."
GÜRKAN: "In the first place, we met the Turkish team and realized a project in a very energetic way. In this process, we learned that people have more forward-looking communication with people from different countries and can touch the issues that people need with citizens of other countries. I have worked with people from different countries, for example, with the Italian team, their experiences, academic experiences. We have seen that we can come up with different solutions, this really pleased me, let it be our trainer, be responsible in our own country, we realized that people from different countries will do great solution-oriented things together, this is my biggest thing. I have experience. First of all, I would like to thank everyone who contributed to the creation of such a great project."
SELİN: "You can't get enough of Korça, the pearl of Albania, with its warm people and wonderful nature. As a first time participant in an international education program, the pleasure of meeting different cultures and explaining your own culture to other people is incredible. The people of Korça are very humble and hospitable, so you feel at home. Apart from the exquisite places we saw for a week, the trainings we received made us say that I am glad I came here. We had the opportunity to receive much training on the basis of SDGs, especially in the field of entrepreneurship. I am sure that we will be able to create very useful works in the future with the knowledge we have gained. Based on this, I feel that I have completed the first week of this training with maximum benefit.
I am grateful to the dear System and Generation organization for providing this opportunity."
ÖZLEM: "Our theme was ‘Get empowered with Entrepreneurial minds, Knowledge and Strategies-Young Geeks’.What a beautiful subject isnt it :) I love with the subject because I had a new personal company and because of my interest in entrepreneurship. We received training on entrepreneurship every day in Korca’s library.
But of course, it is not the training that someone tells and you listen to. It is a training in which you are directly involved and active. On the first day, we determined our own idea and explained it. Everyone voted for the idea they found good and choose the team they wanted to join.
In my team there are Muhammed, Ivan and Filip. After pitching our idea, we detailed our business idea on the business model canvas. Our trainer helped us with this and with the business model, our business idea became more lively and easy to execute. This course actually helped raise awareness on many issues. Because we had a amazing trainer.
She made us feel that we should use our energy, not stay calm. Thank you so much Tila for this experience you gave us !!
We visited a local entrepreneur as part of the training plan. The toys made with 3D printers were amazing. We had the chance to observe the work of an entrepreneur.
What I’m about to say isn’t over yet, it’s just getting started! This was not only my first youth exchange experience, but also my first abroad trip.So i was execiting to explore this city .Apart from the historical places I was curious about in the city, it was the famous cobblestones. Cobblestone is preferred because it is resistant to flooding and is easy to disassemble and lay. It is resistant to flooding because rain water can flow through the stones.
The most interesting thing in the city was the cathedral."
JACOPO: "This has been one of the best training in which I have ever been. I think that the hosting organization did a great job, everything was on time, with clear information, assistance in every step, thank you very much especially to Alba who took very good care of us especially for the organizational and logistical aspects.
The sessions were really empowering, had great contents, explained in a way that everyone could understand despite the difficulty of the topic. I also appreciated that the sessions were highly interactive, with many practical exercises to be done by the participants, so that we had a first-hand opportunity to put into practice what we had learned.
I want to thank the trainer Tila, she has been the star of the project from my point of view, highly competent in the subject, always at disposal to support us, checking and working side by side with us to develop our business ideas, and also sharing the free time as the intercultural night.
I am proud of the Turkish team, I think they did tremendous work, and we are all very grateful for this opportunity that has been given to us."
