Hello everyone!
My name is Gunel, I’m azerbaijani from Georgia. I’m a student – faculty of Law and International relations.
I am a volunteer in Ankara, despite the fact that I am here recently, I have a good impression of this capital. I want to tell you a little about why I am here and why I chose this particular city.
Turkey has always attracted me, perhaps because we have a lot in common.
I got here not by chance, before that my brother took part in this project. Then, on his recommendation, they chose me as a new volunteer from Georgia. I was very happy when I found out about this. It's a lot of fun being a volunteer.
One of the reasons why I came here is that I like to get to know different people, their traditions and culture, to make new friends. I will be in Ankara for two months and I hope to spend this time with benefit. I want to improve my level of English, as well as learn as much as possible about Turkey and its cities.
I hope this project will be a new beginning and a good experience in my life. Today I am glad that I am here. Thanks to the Sistem & Generation for such a wonderful opportunity they offer to young people, for helping them to develop.
