ESC Midterm Training Completed in Kayseri
Volunteers from various projects gathered in Kayseri from March 2 to March 4 for a productive European Solidarity Corps (ESC) Midterm Training. The three-day event focused on strengthening the bonds between participants through intensive team-building exercises. These activities allowed volunteers to step outside their comfort zones, enhance their communication skills, and foster a spirit of cooperation that is essential for the success of any solidarity initiative.
A significant portion of the training was dedicated to evaluating future perspectives as volunteers approach the conclusion of their ESC journeys. Participants engaged in reflective sessions to analyze the impact of their service and map out their next steps in professional and personal development. By identifying the skills gained during their projects, the volunteers were able to better understand how to translate their international experiences into long-term career goals and active citizenship.
The training also served as a vital platform for exchanging personal experiences and "lessons learned." Volunteers shared stories of the challenges they faced and the successes they celebrated in their respective host communities. This peer-to-peer learning environment provided emotional support and practical advice, ensuring that every participant left Kayseri with a renewed sense of motivation and a clearer vision for their life after the project.
