The latest session of the English Speaking Club was conducted under the moderation of Beyza from Turkey, bringing together participants around the theme “The Rhythm of Life: Our Personal Soundtrack.” The meeting explored how music accompanies different stages of our lives and becomes a reflection of our inner world.
During the session, members reflected on their earliest musical memories and the songs that currently resonate with their personal journeys. The discussion highlighted how melodies and lyrics can influence emotions, motivation, and even daily habits. Participants compared their listening preferences, sharing thoughts about experiencing music privately versus collectively, and the difference between live performances and personal listening spaces.
An important part of the conversation focused on music as a bridge between cultures. Attendees expressed how certain songs help them feel understood, inspired, or comforted, regardless of language or nationality. The variety of musical backgrounds represented in the session created a rich and inclusive dialogue.
The meeting not only strengthened participants’ speaking confidence but also encouraged self-expression and intercultural appreciation. We sincerely thank everyone who contributed to the discussion and made the session engaging and meaningful.
We look forward to gathering again in the next English Speaking Club session.
