This week, the English Speaking Club at System & Generation (S&G) was successfully held under the moderation of our project team participating in the activity in Tunisia. The main theme of the session was “Ageism in Healthcare,” addressing age-based discrimination within health services.

Throughout the session, participants discussed the attitudes elderly individuals may face in healthcare environments, the possible effects of ageism on treatment quality, and how these challenges reflect on social life. The diversity of perspectives shared by participants of different age groups enriched the discussion and contributed to a dynamic learning atmosphere.

During the conversation, solution-oriented approaches were evaluated through case examples, and practical ideas for reducing age-based discrimination were generated. Active participation created a space for both language practice and awareness development.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who joined the session online from Tunisia. Their international contribution made this session even more valuable, highlighting once again the significance of intercultural exchange and dialogue.

The meeting continued to support young people in improving critical thinking, communication skills, and global awareness. We look forward to meeting again in the next Speaking Club session!
