Following our visit to UKDA in February, this time the International Association for Cultural Dialogue Research (UKDA) visited the headquarters of the System and Generation (S&G) Association. Fahri Temizyürek and Gülçin Bekmezci Aslan attended the meeting on behalf of UKDA. Building upon the foundation of cooperation established during our previous visit, the meeting was held in a warm and productive atmosphere, focusing on cultural heritage and youth work.

During the visit, three main areas of collaboration were discussed:
The Book of Pouches Project
A proposal was made to create a digital or printed book introducing old Ottoman pouches, with the aim of preserving cultural memory and transferring this heritage to future generations.
Turkish Cultural Objects Promotional Video
Ideas were shared regarding the production of a promotional video showcasing Turkish cultural objects within UKDA’s collection.
Erasmus+ Mobility Information Sessions
S&G will provide informative sessions on Erasmus+ opportunities to support young people in accessing international learning and mobility experiences.
It was also expressed that System and Generation will be invited to the Turkic World Cultural Nights organized by UKDA, marking a step towards strengthening cultural exchange and future partnership initiatives between the two organizations.
This meeting stands as an important milestone, opening new doors for joint cultural and youth-focused projects.
