As part of the “Clean Fethiye” campaign, volunteers, including locals and foreigners, joined municipal teams to clean the Ölüdeniz area, Babadağ Road, and nearby streets in Fethiye on Friday the 17th of October. The event ended with fun activities for children and a shared call: “We want a clean Fethiye!”

The organiser behind the event, FETEM, reports that 67 people participated in the event, which was organized in a cleaning game format in collaboration with 11 volunteers. A total of 125 bags of garbage, 33 large-volume waste, and over 150 plastic bottle caps were collected during the event.
FETEM encourages everyone to join the ‘Clean Fethiye’ campaign by creating their own event to make Fethiye cleaner and more beautiful together with others!
