From 24th of April to 3rd of May, we had the pleasure of welcoming and hosting 35 young participants from 13 different countries as they took part in our seminar, The European Youth Odyssey, that took place in Fethiye, Türkiye. This 10-day international youth exchange program aimed at fostering youth engagement with the European Youth Goals (EYGs) through experiential learning, dialogue, and innovation. The program was youth-led and so empowered participants to take active roles in their communities by enhancing their skills in areas of leadership, mental health awareness, project management, environmental activism, and inclusion. The program was based on non-formal education methods and included a variety of activities such as team-building activities, role-playing, panel discussions, workshops, co-creation sessions, a hackathon, reflection and feedback circles and cultural exchange nights. The participants left with more knowledge about the EYGs, motivation to take action, and tools to get started on new projects.
