Hi there!
here’s Emily, I’m 28 years old and I’m living in Italy.
Since I was in the high school I started volunteering because I feel better if I can make others feel happy.
Later I started volunteering also at European level, taking part of international projects around Europe.
When I volunteer I feel as an active part of the community and in meanwhile I gain a lot of competences that nobody teaches you in school. Living with other youngsters from foreign countries, speaking with them, sharing languages differences and a lot more makes me feel alive and always ready for new challenges.
Right now I’m volunteering for the Disabled Fest in Ankara, which is such an opportunity taking into account that we’re leaving under the pandemic lockdown.
Towards this month in Turkey I’m learning from people with disabilities to be more emphatic and the value of wide inclusion.
Being a volunteer every time makes my life changing into better, in meglio, lo mejor, super!
Turkey has a lot to offer to us, not only food neither good weather, it has lots of historical background and wonderful people to meet.
Love this country and I do look forward to feel in love even more when everything will be open!
I want to make the volunteering my future life
teşekkür ederim
Emily
