Hello, I’m Diletta (or Didi if you prefer) and I’m from Rome, Italy. I’m 21 and currently attending my bachelor’s in Global Governance.
Studying in an international environment and being an AIESEC member, I am used to speaking about creating an impact and changing the world, but I felt like I was not doing enough. I really felt the urge to contribute in some concrete way, and I believe that this project was the perfect opportunity for me.
I’m confident that volunteering experiences in cross-cultural environments are the best way to boost your leadership and to challenge yourself truly.
Another aspect of why I became interested in this project is that I’m fascinated by the world of NGOs, and after two years of experience, I decided I’m willing to continue my academic and career path in this direction.
I expect to learn a lot, to experience and embrace cultural diversity, as well as to make an actual difference a the local level.
I’m glad I’ve decided to join this project with these amazing people, and I can’t wait to see what lies ahead.
