System and Generation within the Fairplay 4 Inclusion Project organized Wheelchair Basket event in the area of Kecioren, Ankara, Turkey.
Through this event, System and Generation Association, aimed at promoting healthy lifestyle and especially social inclusion of people with disabilities through sport, but also raise awareness on the importance of fair play in sport event.
This event was of a great importance given that the team playing basketball in wheelchair is the only one in Turkey: basketball team of females in wheelchair.
The participants had the chance to witness the training of the team but also have a friendly match.
We had the chance to explain to the team about the aims of the project and the importance of sport in social inclusion of people with fewer opportunities.
