I am a first time volunteer in Turkey.
I am a person with disability. I have ataxia, which affects my balance, coordination, and speech, hypermobility syndrome and autism spectrum disorder.
I am a voice for disability awareness. I am also a musician. I like Turkey, it's nature, food, music, and hospitality of its residents.
But I would like to see improvements in accessibility of the hotels, streets, etc. and I also find crossing the streets a bit dangerous in some places. I wish there would be even more support and inclusion for the disabled into the community life.
Overall, I like my experience here and am happy to have received the possibility."
