ABOUT
This is the Erasmus + project and this project is about learning how to use music and sound design possibilities for employment of blind youth
7 countries participated in the project - Serbia, Albania, Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, Montenegro and Turkey

MAIN GOALS

On this Training Course participants will get concrete knowledge and skills about how to use music and sound design possibilities for employment of blind youth. That include music workshops, working in sound recording and editing software (mostly on radio forms: radio drama, interview, reportage, advertisement etc.), theme of entrepreneurship, Stock audio, inclusive music games and so on.

IN THIS PROJECT:

On the first day introduction speech was done and technical information about sound was given and that day was about blind and visually impaired people's employment possibilities and social rights in different countries. People that came from different countries made presentations about this topic and we discussed about problems and  solutions, what are the differences between countries, how to increase employment rates ETC. We get concrete knowledge and skills about new possibilities, for helping blind youth on their self-employment/entrepreneurship using methods of making music and sound design. What we understood from the first training session was that disabilities aren't created by people with disabilities, they are created by non disabled people.

On the second and third day of the project and the purpose objectives were mentioned and according to us aim of the project was to learn how to use music and sound design possibilities for employment/entrepreneurship of blind youth. Also the other objective was to encourage blind or visually impaired people to do something about sound designing and employment in first activity.

On the fourth day the recording devices were introduced. It was taught how to record sounds. Experiences are shared about sound design. As participant, we got concrete knowledge and skills about new possibilities, for helping blind youth on their self-employment/entrepreneurship using methods of making music and sound design.
The Federation of Blindmen in Vojvodina was visited. The services for the blind provided by this federation were learned. Registration rooms were examined

On the fifth day Seven groups were formed by selecting each person from each country. There were some workshops about sound designing and other topics about employment, blindness ETC. The music academy was visited. The record rooms of Music Academy were examined, information about sounds and how to record them were given and videos were watched. information about how to work with excluded blind youth, how to motivate them on entrepreneurship is given.
A young blind person who participated in the program shared his life experiences with other participations. He talked about how improve himself and made money.
During this project, we gained awareness about blind and visually impaired people.

On the sixth day time is given to groups for record audio with recorder. Groups are given time to record audio. The groups listened and recorded the sounds of nature and the environment. Life trials about recording sound were shared.
The other one training sessions was making musics by using  our boddies. Two educators taught us how music can be made from our body.
it showed us that even a lowest sound could make a wonderful combination with the other sounds in a harmony.

On the seventh day how to prepare and what to pay attention to while preparing CV is taught. Recorded sounds have been listened and evaluated. Body voice work was done again.
The other thing we've noticed in this project was blind people can use tactile skills very well.
For example we were at a restorand and our blind friend Sebahiddin lost his jecket. We tried to find it but we couldn't.
and then he touched some jeckets in the restorand and recognised his jecket just by touching.

On the eighth day certificate ceremony was done. Information about Erasmus + was given. Erasmus's possibilities, how to participate in a project and how to write a project was mentioned.
İn our opinion, the other benifit of the project was cultural exchange. Participants had opportunity to learn something about other cultures and to make friends from other countries.
also we learned somethings about Novi Sad and Serbian culture.
we learned the situation of blind people living in Novi Sad and their accessibility possibilities.
So we feel so lucky because we have been in  this project and we learned a lot informations. This project was an amazing experience for us and we made wonderful plans.
