Hello. My name is Jeyhuna. I’m 25 years old and I’m from Azerbaijan. I have been working as a freelancer Graphic designer since 2019.  I would like to say why I chose this project. International volunteering makes it possible to find international friends and get to know foreign countries well. Voluntary service for me is a way of exchanging a lot of life experiences and knowledge. At work, you have to focus only on work but volunteering is a mixture of many things such as fun, integration, working, learning, teaching, and exploring. Additionally, I like to ride a bicycle, reading book, watching movie etc. First and foremost, I really like to learn different things from people and exchange ideas and experience  and I am trying to communicate with people .I am really keen on outdoor activities. I think that we should participating in this project because  we will get a chance to learn the importance of being a team and communication with other people from different countries. I hope I will improve my communication skills, and I will keep travelling after the project.

I am Danylo Yurchenko.  I'm 18 years old.  I lived in a small town in the Kirovohrad region.  I played football professionally for almost 11 years.  Played in various teams of Ukraine in the higher league of children's and youth football.  Thanks to this, I traveled all over Ukraine, playing in football matches, and during my travels I got to know different people, saw different cities of Ukraine and other countries.  Those were the best moments of my life.  After school, I decided to try to enter a university in Turkey at the faculty of engineering.  Now I have successfully completed preparatory courses of the Turkish language up to the C1 level. After the end of the season in football clubs, I always came to my hometown.  There, together with my former coaches, I participated in the training of new young football players on a free basis.  They also organized charity matches in support of sick children. While already in Turkey, after the start of the war, we, together with other citizens of Ukraine and other countries, did charity projects in the city of Canakkale.  They collected aid and sent it to Ukraine.  I think volunteering is very important.  And everyone should try themselves in this role.In a new project in Ankara, I would like to show myself from the best side.  Transfer all your skills, be useful to others, and in return get practice in communicating in Turkish and English, make new friends and gain volunteering experience in other areas

Hi, l'm Khayal Maharramli. l'm from Azerbaijan. l am 19. I am currently studying at Azerbaijan University of Languages. I have been working as an English teacher in a private kindergarten in Baku for 9 months. It is a very interesting feeling to work with children and teach them something. In addition, I work as a coordinator in the field of youth work, in the National Council of the Youth Organization of the Republic of Azerbaijan. I think that the best way of self-development is working together with young people, creating different projects, learning together. In addition, with the support of the organization I work for, I won a fee to participate in a 2-month project in Ankara.
During the project, it is a very interesting feeling to create conversation clubs and make podcasts together with volunteers from other countries. At the same time, the program includes a city tour together, discovering new places. My goal in participating in the program is to socialize, gain a different experience, along with a new environment. I am sure that my active participation in the project for two months will play a very good role in my future education and work life.

Hello. I am Barbare from Georgia. I am super excited to be selected as an European Solidarity Corps volunteer in Ankara.
What comes to your mind when you hear Georgia? Fullfiling meals like Khachapuri (cheesebread) and Khinkali (dumplings), enchanting landscape and mountainious resorts or super welcoming and nice local people.I myself enjoy cooking, travelling, painting, reading books, visiting new places. I believe that participation in intercultural exchanges and non-formal education programs is the best way to acquire new skills, develop personally and explore more about oneself, discover new interests.
I am very enthusiastic to get to know Turkish culture and society, as well, since it seems unique to me. It's been a couple of days since I came to Ankara and every day I feel like I learn something new.  I hope to contribute to the local society and fulfill my duties as a volunteer to make a positive impact.

My name is Diana. And I am from the amazing country – Ukraine). I am 18 and I think that’s a wonderful age for new achievements.
At the beginning of my schooling, I dreamed of being a teacher, to help children better understand this world and put some of their knowledge into their bright heads.  Throughout my school life, my dream only gained strength and did not fade.  After graduating from high school, I entered the Pedagogical College with a degree in primary education with in-depth study of English, but after 2 years of study I realized that I do not want to stop only at primary education, and plan to become an experienced teacher for the older generation. While studying, a new page appeared in my life – volunteering, which developed with each passing month.  From helping poor vulnerable animals to volunteering in volunteer centers and volunteer events. I had experience as a volunteer in a Christian school-kindergarten, where children of different ages studied and each had their own interests and needs.  She also took part in a large number of volunteer actions in order to provide new information to people and their comprehensive development.
When starting something new, everyone experiences anxiety, and the same is happening to me with this project, because no one knows how the relationship with other team members will develop, as well as whether I will be able to fulfill the goal set for myself.  I want to benefit society and create new and creative things with other volunteers
Volunteering is a choice of everyone, but who chooses it, he will receive a lot of emotions, and his life will not be sad and routine.
