Hello to everyone! I will graduate from molecular biology and genetics this year. With the pandemic, our school went online and I started researching how to turn the crisis into an opportunity. I did a volunteer project in a university lab for three months.

I wrote projects. Then a friend of mine led me to this project. And I immediately accepted. Bulgaria is the 13th country I have visited. Since I normally travel to other countries with hitchhiking and tents, it has been a luxury for me to go with a project. I had very good friendships and wonderful memories on this project. I was one of those people who had different lives but gathered for the same purpose and helping people is helping yourself. I did volunteering because I have seen it as a way to make this world a better place.

I think people should volunteer and everybody here added something to me. You should chase your goals everytime, I learned it from Merve. I learned to make the most of the moment from Ali Emre. I learned to purpose of the life from Fatih. I learned to let life flow from Barlas. I learned to be sincere from Fehmi. I learned to awareness of responsibility from Gizem. I learned to enjoy the beautiful moments from Buse. I learned to that your head could be pretty sometimes (in a beautiful sense) from Martin. I learned to seize opportunities from Ömer. I learned to reward yourself from Ezgi. I learned to friendship from Zlata. I learned if you want something, you have to be persistent from Polina. I learned that you should choose the one with you, not the perfect one from Kalina. I learned to work discipline from Petko. I learned the control of power and knowledge from Nadya. I learned to be patience from Javid. I learned to look at life as it is from Laura. I learned to say stop in front of the wrong from Zoi. I learned to be funny from Adonis. I learned to be normal from Galin. And my other friends, whose names I could not share. All the memories that passed were dear to me. Erasmus ESC program contains these and many more beauties.
I also asked, they learned from me to be calm and thoughtful. I tried to stay longer but it didn't work. I sent all the volunteers back to their homes. I'm left alone. I passed covid and survived the disease alone. I do not regret it because I like volunteering. And I'm still surprised that the time has passed. The days I will miss. To have more good memories. I wish you live too.

From Turkey with love.
